Fundraising Events

The Kindy Committee and community rally to raise annual figures in the vicinity of $5000. These efforts provide substantial agency for enrolled kindy families to make unique and enduring connections by selecting resources or playground equipment with proceeds.

The kindy consistently builds community with fundraising activities such as:

-          Bake Sales in the Tewantin main street over 2 days
-          Bunnings BBQs
-          Social events ie Sip n Paint nights
-          Keepsakes, T-Shirts & Hats
-          Christmas Raffles

Tewantin kindy opens nature-based playground

THE power of community support has put big smiles on the faces of four and five-year old’s at Tewantin Community Kindergarten, with the instalment of a new outdoor playground.

Kindy teacher welcomes next generation to great outdoors

Early childhood educator Helen Walsh is relishing a chance to instil a love of nature in a young girl whose father she taught almost 30 years ago.
HORTICULTRIST Ky Koszta’s love for outdoor spaces began when he was just four years old, and he was given the chance to play, learn, explore and grow at Tewantin Community Kindergarten.
